In 2004, a group of devoted young hearts laid the foundation for a noble cause under the name 'Shirdi Sai Baba Movies Trust'. As with all divine works, God's plan unfolds in His own time. The chosen instrument for spreading Sai Baba's message was none other than Aushim Khetarpal, whose unwavering faith led him to leave behind a flourishing business life to serve Baba's mission.
Founded in 2006 by Sai Bhakt Aushim Khetarpal and Mr. Vikas Kapoor, the Shirdi Sai Baba Foundation is built on the sacred teachings and blessings of Sai Baba. Through the divine vision and guidance of Aushim Khetarpal, the Foundation has grown into a force of transformation and service, touching lives in India and around the world.
Aushim Khetarpal, then a young entrepreneur at the helm of India's biggest sports management company Radiant Sports and the CMD of Orient Tradelink Ltd and Divine Entertainment Ltd, was leading a successful business life. When Sai Baba chose him to spread his word, he did not hesitate to leave it all behind β marking the beginning of a life devoted to the prachar of Sai Baba.
Aushim's dedication has brought tangible change to over 1 million people through personal counselling sessions. With a mission spanning 1600 towns and villages across India, people have received support including financial aid, education for underprivileged girls, support for differently abled athletes and relief for victims of natural disasters.
To make Baba's teachings accessible to millions, Aushim took the monumental step of producing the film Shirdi Sai Baba, featuring 160 legendary stars including Dharmendra, late Shammi Kapoor and Sudhir Dalvi as Sai Baba. SSBF shares Sai-related audio-visual content through television, social media and digital platforms.
